| Chloe in Dublin, Ireland: Any info on if we will be getting any more hot Sawyer and Kate scenes on Lost? Well, I can tell you what Evangeline Lilly told me: "I'm at the mercy of the writers as much as the audience is; I just have to keep rolling with the punches...So far, they haven't thrown me any curveballs, but you never know." Sounds to me like the writers are staying the Skate course. Sorry, Jaters. For the record, I am neither a Skater nor a Jater but a SkaJater, meaning I want my Skaters and Jaters all to feel the love. Maybe Lost can move to Utah and SkaJate can all be one big happy family in two houses surrounding one pool?HenryLee in London: Please, I'll take any news you have on Lost! Well, there's a lot going on as far as that mysterious visitor from last week, who you probably figured out by the credits is Miss Marsha Thomason from Las Vegas. (Maybe she blew off a Vegas rooftop like Lara Flynn Boyle and landed on Lost island?) She is a major twist to the plot, from what I hear. I also hear that [read only if you want to know!] this week there will be shocking moment when the fallen angel (Thomason) tells Hurley the fate of the real (wtf?!) Oceanic Flight 815.Carmela in Wisconsin: Lost! We'll definitely see more of Sawyer and Sayid working together. How far they've come—from torture to teamwork! Yay, S & S! Plus, sounds like Penny's dad, Charles Widmore, may be seen again. Alan Dale (also Big Daddy Meade on Ugly Betty) tells me, "When I was at the Golden Globes, one of the executive producers came up to me and asked, 'Would you like to come back?' And I said yes, of course, if we can work it out, although obviously Betty comes first." If only his son Daniel Meade had such priorities! (Did that last ep break your heart or what?)bon ma théorie, durant la trek, sawyer apprend par locke ou danielle que t'as uen mole sur la plage d'où le secret de jules devient public mais cette hist de sayid&sawyer me confortent dans l'idée que sawyer apprendra autre chose, locke lui dira ptet t'as qq1 d'autres sur la plage qu'il faut te méfier mais il ne POURRA PAS dire le nom, sayid et sawyer enquêteront ens et finiront par découvrir qu'il s'agit de jack quand par la faute de jack, une mort surviendra. comme je l'ai dis plus tôt je crois vrt que jack sait les motivations de juliet, je crois qu'ils travaillent ts les deux pr les others mais qu'elle n'est pas ac ben je crois que jack en sait plus qu'il ne le laisse paraitre pour moi depuis TMFT, jack ment, il cache qq chose, il a rencontré qq1 qui a changé sa vision des others, il ne travaille pas pour ben mais CONTRE ben et quand les losties le découvriront, on aura une division des camps sawyer vs jack ou locke vs jack _________________ D:How much clearer could you be about her choice? | ausiello spoiler Question: Am I the only one who thinks this is the best season of Lost? Anyhoo, can you give me some more info on the five deaths you scooped in last week's Ask Ausiello? Like, are all the deaths going to be Losties, or will it be a mixture of Losties and Others?— Benjamin Flemming Ausiello: It'll be a mix, but one side will get hit harder than the other. Speaking of Lost, get a load of this: Michael Emerson’s wife, Carrie Preston, is guest-starring in his flashback episode — as his mother! Question: Wow, five deaths! Please tell me that Juliet is not one of them!— PGP Ausiello: They wouldn't dare. ******* They are now casting for a 40-year-old flight attendant. Source: Spoilerfix ******** On still-mysterious Lost, no season-finale is complete without someone dying. Who that will be is still anyone's guess. The survivors of Flight 815 will have another showdown with the "Others," the origins of the Dharma Initiative will be explained, and the beach occupants divide into two camps: one run by Jack (Matthew Fox) and the other Sawyer (Josh Holloway). One old face you will not be seeing is Harold Perrineau as Michael, who actually turned down an opportunity to return in the season finale. At this point, we have to assume that Michael and Walt are safe and sound at home. Source: MediaWeek [Note: Some people talk about a Jack/Locke showdown others talk about Jack/Sawyer. | ABC once again invites new and avid “Lost” viewers to take another look at one of the most talked about and critically acclaimed shows. “Lost: The Answers” will explore the series in a way that will bring new viewers up to date -- but which current viewers will also find illuminating – in anticipation of the Season Finale episode. The special will take an in-depth look at the mysteries of both the island and its inhabitants and recap the secrets that have been revealed, as well as those that remain unanswered. Hosted by “Lost” executive producers Damon Lindelof (also a co-creator of the show) and Carlton Cuse, the special will revisit mysteries that have been solved, including why a polar bear is on an island in the South Pacific, who the real father of Sun’s baby is, what caused the crash of Oceanic flight 815, who was in the hatch, what happened to the Dharma group, how Locke ended up in a wheelchair, what Kate did to become one of America’s most wanted, and the identity of the real Sawyer -- who conned James Ford’s parents – leading to their deaths. In addition, mysteries that remain unsolved will also be explored. Source: ABC ************** Question: Thanks for the Lost scoop last week. But I am a greedy bugger, and will take the words out of Oliver Twist's mouth: I want some more!— Benjamin Fleming Ausiello: And more you shall get, BF. Lost's streak of mind-blowing episodes continues tonight with "The Brig," the much ballyhooed "non-flashback" outing penned by Team Darlton. But I have to warn you, it's a dark hour, punctuated by one of the (spoiler alert) most, um, twisted Lost deaths ever.Question: Help me out here. I’m four months pregnant and need as much Lost scoop as possible!— Allyson Ausiello: How 'bout I give you four "Brig" scoops — one for each month you've been knocked up:
1) A classic Lost set piece makes a comeback. 2) Keep your eyes on Juliet's tape recorder. It's goin' places. 3) Someone poses this question to Sawyer: "Wanna zip your pants up?" 4) There's a little post-coitus canoodling within the first five minutes (and it may or may not be related to No. 3).Question: Am I wrong to suspect that Jack will be one of the five Lost deaths you have been speaking of?— Brandon Ausiello: Yes, you would be wrong to suspect that. Jack is not dying. And remember, I said there will be at least five deaths this month — four after tonight.Question: Did we see the "game-changing" moment on last week's Lost when Naomi revealed that the outside world had found Flight 815 and that there were no survivors?— Louis Ausiello: Take it away, Damon Lindelof: "Nope. Not yet. Trust us.... YOU. WILL. KNOW." ******************* The search for redemption follows many paths. For the lost souls on Lost, efforts at salvation vary from small acts of kindness that promote forgiveness to sudden acts of violence that promise freedom. For the show itself, redemption consists of a string of solid, and sometimes superb, episodes that has firmly re-established Lost in TV's top ranks, in quality if not popularity. That climb to the top continues tonight with an excellent hour focused on Locke (Terry O'Quinn) and Sawyer (Josh Holloway). Where Locke seems to have lost his way, his faith turning to bitter doubt, Sawyer has begun to find himself and his place in the beach community. Now their journeys cross, as Locke leaves The Others to seek Sawyer's help. What he wants from Sawyer and why he thinks Sawyer will comply are best left for viewers to discover. But it leads to one of the show's darkest and most morally complex outings yet, one few other shows would dare to attempt. And since so many seem to have become fixated on this one point: It does provide an answer to an important, lingering question from the first season, along with a potential answer to the most important question of them all. Just remember, however, that answers are not necessarily universal or true. Progress also is made on other fronts as the show speeds toward the finale and further explores the fractures in its beachfront solidarity. Jack learns a painful secret while revealing he has one of his own. And the mysterious pilot repeats last week's bombshell, the message that the wreckage from their flight was found and everyone on it was dead. The good news for fans is that the producers seem to realize the show has to be accessible enough to keep a mass audience involved and has to focus on characters the audience wants to see. That means diverting attention back to the main camp and away from The Others. But that also means the story will last as long as the series lasts, a simple TV truth that seems to have escaped some of the show's more contentious, answer-eager fans. Still, it's clear they've heard you. And as often happens, they've let Jorge Garcia's lovable Hurley humorously address audience concerns. As Sayid fiddles with the newly discovered transmitter, Hurley asks him, "What about the other part? The part about they found a plane and we're all dead?" "One thing at a time," Sayid answers. When "one thing" leads to an episode this good, why leave the path now? Source: USA Today ******************* pour ausiello qq1 a compris le jeu de mot Question: Thanks for the Lost scoop last week. But I have to warn you, it's a dark hour, punctuated by one of the (spoiler alert) most, um, twisted Lost deaths ever. Okay. I see the play on words here. The connection is obvious. The questioner to Ausiello is an Oliver Twist fan (note the word Twist). Cooper, much like the criminal Bill Sikes in Oliver Twist, dies a horrible death as quoted below. | Citation: | An exceprt from Oliver Twist
Believing her to be a traitor, Bill Sikes murders Nancy in a fit of rage, and is himself killed when he accidentally hangs himself while fleeing an angry mob.

"Through the Looking Glass" was written by Carlton Cuse & Damon Lindelof and directed by Jack Bender. ************* Kristin from Kristin's Office: What are the two things you can tell us about the Lost finale on May 23? Excellent question, Kristin! Here they are: 1. The game-changer involves Jack and someone else. 2. A fan favorite will sacrifice himself for the good of the rest of the Losties.
Dana in Philadelphia: Please tell me that we get to see some Jack and Juliet nooky before the end of the season! P.S. If Juliet dies, I'm no longer watching the show. P.P.S. That was probably a lie. HA! Right there with ya! I'm already giddy with anticipation for season-three DVDs of Lost, much less season four. Anyway, I don't know about no nooky, but I do believe Dr. Juliet Burke is sticking around for the foreseeable future. Yay!...Please don't throw garbage at me. I like her.****************** de Ginger sur lf: From EW Darlton Interview... Not Skatey but Jacky http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,2003...038202,00.htmlSpoiler: The reality is, you do know everything there is to know about Jack as a character in terms of what's driving him. But you don't know everything that's happened to Jack. And there is one sort of significant event that we've been holding back that happened to Jack and we're going to show it in the season finale. And as all great flashbacks on the show are, they pertain directly to what's happening on the Island. Okay. But will the flashback structure be part of the show going forward? LINDELOF: Let's have that conversation after the finale. Does the finale set up season four? CUSE: Yes. The finale clearly sets up season four of the show, and hopefully in doing so, people will see there is still a lot of storytelling left in Lost and will feel really good about the 48 number. LINDELOF: And it will make you realize that the house you are standing in actually has a lot more rooms than you thought when you came into it. **************** ***************** Question: Clones! You heard me, the survivors of the plane crash and some of the people on the island are clones. That's why Locke can walk because his DNA was that of a perfectly good Locke. That's why the Russian dude who was supposed to have died in that sonic-fence thing came back. That's why the women on the island can't have children because for some reason clones can't have babies! Tell me I'm wrong!— Linda Ausiello: You're wrong! "Damon and I are willing to go out on a limb and ding that theory," Carlton Cuse says. "They are not clones."Question: Do me a favor? Tell your friends over at Lost that if the show ends with us finding out that everyone is actually dead, I'm going to be pretty miffed. That, and I'll be throwing away my Lost mugs, T-shirts, fan-club kits and magazines. OK... maybe not the fan-club kits, but those shirts will be history.— Sandi Ausiello: Hold onto your loot: They're not — I repeat, not — dead.Question: Lost has been awesome of late. Am I correct in assuming that the "game-changing" episode is still to come?— Steve Ausiello: News flash: The "game-changer" and the "Rattlesnake in the Mailbox" are one and the same. Mark your calendars accordingly.

| Zap2it.com has a largely ignored interview with Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse on their website. It's mostly about the announcement of three more seasons of 16 episodes each, but there is some new information about the type of characters who die in the finale: So you're not going to tell me who dies. Cuse: Well, at least five people die. Lindelof: But, you know, not like five major, major characters. But a couple of major characters. So when Locke DID hear JACOB, that really got...that freaked Ben out. That was a threat to Ben and his primacy. And though "Lost" isn't known for its romance, there will be some :really significant developments that occur in the romantic quadrangle of Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Juliet in the finale – two that will be surprising for the audience," Cuse says. Finally, the fight between the Losties and the Others finally comes to a head, and five people will die, although not all of them will be major cast members One big mystery that has been resolved: the show will come to a conclusion in 2010, after airing in three shortened seasons of 16 episodes each. | ausiello spoilers Question: Any further Lost scoopage is much appreciated!— CJ Ausiello: My (slightly ironic) advice to you: Resist all spoilers concerning next week's game-changer. It'll ruin all the fun. Trust me.Question: Please (oh, please!) tell me Locke isn't really dead. The "magical healing powers" of the island help him heal just in time. Right?— Rebecca Ausiello: Sorry, but my lips are sealed re: Locke's fate. And not to compound your anxiety, but tonight's episode gives no resolution to the "Will Locke survive?" mystery.
Question: Can I just say that you have the sexiest eyebrows of any TV columnist ever? Anyway, Damon Lindelof has hinted that someone in the Lost love quadrangle makes a "declaration" during the finale. Can you please tell us which lucky couple is involved?— Candice Ausiello: No, but I can tell you the person making the declaration is a man. Question: Is the on-screen couple that hates each other Jack and Juliet from Lost?— Robert Ausiello: Sounds like someone didn't read my blind item very carefully. I refer to the duo in question as "former costars." Last time I checked, Matthew Fox and Elizabeth Mitchell were both still on Lost. That's just plain sloppy. Question: Well, either your earlier scoop about the season finale including a showdown between Jack and Locke was wrong, or Locke makes it out of the Pit of Despair alive. Are you at liberty to disclose which?— Kat French Ausiello: My scoop was not wrong. _________________ D:How much clearer could you be about her choice?
